Can anybody show me a website with plans or descriptions of home made glass annealing ovens?
I have searched quite a bit but nobody seems to have documented a homebuilt oven for annealing borosilicate glass at 565 °C. or 1049 ° F. I was thinking about my propane barbque. A little refractory material might do it but I know so little about this subject…

I was unable to find free plans as well, however building one might not be as hard as you would think.
First thing I would do is take a look at some professional ovens

Take some tips from the features they brag about. Notice how the inside is ceramic. Brick would probably work just fine.
Burning propane or wood would get plenty hot enough, however, they are not very efficient at holding a high heat, since exhaust is always escaping out the smoke stack.
Your best bet is to do what the professionals do and use electricity. Make a ceramic/box then run nichrome wire (toaster wire) in the inside.
